Temperature Sensor

ROTEM Temperature Sensor provides accurate temperature data. Temperature sensors provide data used in a variety of controller functions. They operate from -60° to +160° C, are accurate to 0.3%, and have an extremely long lifespan.

Humidity Sensor

The sensor is designed so that the sensing tip can be easily replaced if the need arises; there is no need to replace the entire unit. The RHS+ can be quickly and easily taken apart, enabling you to remove the unit when you wash down the farm house. The unit's male-female connector can be taken apart in seconds.

Light Dimmer

ROTEM's light dimmers enable control over various types of lamps, including incandescent, cold cathode, CFL, and LED bulbs. These controls feature an advanced electronic package, and two channels, and can be managed directly by the controller.

Along with the Dimmer's advanced electronic circuits, the Light Dimmer's software package provides superior performance & functionality, enabling high caliber control & stable dimming capability.

RSU-2 / HUB-4

Remote Scale Unit (RSU-2) enables ROTEM's controllers to remotely manage and control scale and feed bin weighing and calibration, while also displaying the weight at the scale location. The HUB enables connecting devices to a controller in a star configuration.

The RSU-2 ensures noise-resistant, highly accurate data over RS-485 infrastructures. The HUB supports Platinum Family controllers, RSU-2 units, and RDT-5s.

  • Each HUB supports 4 daisy chains.
  • Each chain supports up to 32 remotes (128 total)

Controller Backups

Backup units featuring programmable digital thermostats ensure that these controllers function according to specifications during standard operations. ROTEM provides the following backup systems: - RBU-27 (USA/Canada): Backup unit featuring 27 heavy duty relays to drive single phase load - RDT-5: 5 digital thermostats, works in conjunction with the RBU-27 or as a standalone. RDT-5 comes in two models: - Dual Phase (USA/Canada) - Triple Phase (EMEA and LATAM)

  • Ensures animal/bird survival in cases of extreme temperatures or power disruptions.
  • No software required to run these backup units, ensuring service even in the event of a controller failure.
  • RDT-5 stages can be defined as cooling or heating
  • RDT-5 has a programmable temperature curve, while all decisions are made through a hardware circuit without any software intervention

Ammonia Sensor

The Ammonia Sensor enables continuous, long term ammonia measurement. The sensor works with the Platinum Pro/Touch, Rotem Pro/One, and Trio Controllers, delivering real time data via a constant 0 - 10V output signal.

Silo Scale - RJB Junction Box

The RJB is used to connect up to eight load cells to the Silo Weighing Controller (RSW-2) or to the Platinum and Trio Poultry Controllers (if the controllers are equipped with a silo weighing card).

Egg Counter

The Egg Counter accurately counts eggs as they are transported on a conveyers or egg belts. The Egg Counter is supported by the Platinum Pro/Touch and Rotem Pro/One, which collect and display the data. The controllers support up to four egg counters.
